Here stands a 1977 Gibson Les Paul Custom in beautiful Tobacco Burst Finish. This guitar has a great tone and plenty of sustain! Reminds me of the sounds of the '70s albums from Thin Lizzy & Aerosmith. It has a nice re-fret done with stainless steel frets and guitar has great playability/sound. Spec details are below.
Three piece Maple Neck (Slim Profile)
Fresh Stainless Steel Frets ($450 value - professionally done)
New Bone Nut (performed at same time of re-fret)
Seymour Duncan JB & Jazz Humbucker Set. Has Older covers with wear to match rest of guitar. We love these pickups!
Pots & Caps are not original, but replaced to make this guitar sing.
Bridge and tailpiece are early 80's Gibson
Lots of authentic wear including a cigarrette burn on headstock face. No structural issues
Great package here with all replacement parts done well so they fit, appear, and perform as stock. The stock pickups of this era were low output, so this one has hotter output and plays really nicely setup with low action.
